A long time coming

If anyone is still watching this space - doubtful, then you must check out in the coming weeks and months. Things ground to a halt last summer with real life getting in the way, but now university is over for the summer i'll have plenty of time for the 6mm things, and probably some other stuff. So either way check back soon, updates are on the way...

A hello and welcome, and a first post : )

Hello! I'd like to welcome you all to my very own blog (wanted one for myself for ages so i took the plunge), and as you can see by the title its dedicated mainly to my newest hobby, 6mm Wargaming (mainly Modern era). In the past I have undertaken military modelling in larger scales and wargaming, but i was always attracted by the detail on these little things! so i placed my first order and i am absolutley hooked! these things are absolutley amazing and i have big plans for my forces and for the German wargaming table that i plan to use to take on my friends Russian forcs that he is also currently building.

This blog is aiming to be kept as up to date as i can possibly manage, with updates as much as i can, hopefully with some Step By Step photos as i paint my forces, build the terrain and eventually play some games! We intend to use the 'Fistful of TOW's rules' on a 1 : 1 basis, as this is where the appeal lies for me with the 6mm scale stuff - huge games on a more realistic scale, but alas we shall see.

The photos im posting up for my very first post show the limited first order I placed just to get a taste for the stuff.

The Detailed photos are of the GHQ Pavelow model which is absolutley outstanding, and with my obsession for special ops stuff you can be assured that there will be more of these on the way, and I have plans for them! hope you enjoy these first pics and hopefully painted ones wont be far long away!
